Pacific Edge is UK franchisor software for Driving Miss Daisy franchisees. Authorised staff use it to manage bookings, calendars, clients, invoicing, staff and vehicles.

The lawful bases are typically performance of a contract (providing the software to the franchise), legitimate interests (security and service improvement), and legal obligation where applicable.

If you connect a Google account, Pacific Edge requests access via OAuth solely to sync booking events with Google Calendar. Specifically:
calendar.calendarlist.readonly to list calendars so you can choose which calendar to sync.calendar.events to create, update and delete booking events on the selected calendar.You can disconnect Google Calendar in the application. You can also revoke access in your Google account security settings. When disconnected, stored Google tokens for that franchisee are removed.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it unless a legal obligation requires longer. As a guide:
Access is restricted to authenticated users with assigned roles. We use HTTPS and standard hosting controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

If you connect Google Calendar, Google may process that data outside the UK under Google’s terms and transfer mechanisms (including standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
